As we approach Super Bowl XLVI, it's time to announce the winner of this year's Cyber Bowl. Congratulations to...

Dustin Chilson of Happy Valley, Oregon, the new Don of the Dutch Mafia!

Dustin, under the username Dustinc, managed to rack up an impressive 1176 points over the season, narrowly taking the top spot from "Wahoo" by a mere 8 points.  Dustin, a Dutch Bros. regular since moving to the area, says he likes to "keep it simple" with his order.  His favorite drink--a Dutch Mocha.

When asked about his Cyber Bowl strategy, Dustin says he would like to keep it "top secret" to give him a better shot at winning again next year.

Again, congratulations to Dustin!  For his efforts, Dustin will receive a full year of free Dutch Bros. Coffee and other fabulous prizes.

DUTCH BROS. COFFEE RAISES $93,000 ON ANNUAL BUCK FOR KIDS DAY

GRANTS PASS, ORE. (Dec. 27, 2011) – This month, in support of Dutch Bros.’ mantra “make a difference one cup at a time,” the company’s customers helped raise $93,000 to benefit regional nonprofits. The donation is the result of Dutch Bros.’ annual Buck For Kids Day, an event during which all 173 locations give a portion of their proceeds to the community.

“Just in time for the holidays, we’re thrilled to share this Buck For Kids donation with the communities in which we work and live,” said Travis Boersma, co-founder of Dutch Bros. Coffee. “Our franchisees and customers are very committed to supporting local organizations, and we’re thankful for their eagerness to give back.”

In addition to fundraisers, such as Buck For Kids Day, the company reinvests one percent of annual gross sales back into the community, donating more than $1 million in 2010 to nonprofit organizations.

Dutch Bros. to donate proceeds for man's medical bills

And on Friday, more positive things will happen for the Sams Valley resident.

The Medford Dutch Bros. location at 816 S. Riverside Ave., in Medford, will donate all of its proceeds to help cover hospital bills and expenses to retrofit Owens' home to accommodate his new wheelchair. Owens' son, Kyle Owens, works for Dutch Bros.

Tempe Dutch Bros. to remain open 24 hours during finals

Dutch Bros. Arizona will make it easier for ASU students to pull an all-nighter this week.

The coffee drive-thru location near Rural Road and Lemon Street will begin serving coffee on Wednesday for 24 hours a day through Dec. 14 to meet the caffeine needs of exhausted students.

“(It’s) just kind of to give students the upper hand and have some great coffee available to them for 24 hours from reading day all the way through the end of finals,” said Natalie Abel from Zion & Zion, a marketing agency that serves Dutch Bros. Arizona.

Abel said she wishes a coffee shop had offered a service like this while she was in college.

“It’s a really good way to get out of the room where you are studying, go and get a cup of coffee and have a little break,” Abel said.
