CHICO, Calif. (March 15, 2017) – On Thursday, March 9, Dutch Bros Chico partnered with the community to raise $9,000 for the National Kidney Foundation.
The National Kidney Foundation is a nonprofit organization that strives to better the well-being of those who have, or are at-risk of having kidney disease. Through awareness, prevention and treatment, the National Kidney Foundation’s goal is to increase its efforts of educating the community about kidney disease and its affects.
Dan Richardson, Dutch Bros Chico owner, is avid about supporting this foundation as this disease has affected his family and a close friend. Through these relationships and to further bring awareness to the disease, he was inspired to get involved with this organization.
On World Kidney Day, Thursday, March 9, all Dutch Bros Chico location donated proceeds from the day to benefit this organization. Funds will directly benefit the National Kidney Foundation as they continue to enhance the livelihood of those with the disease, or are at-risk of contracting it.
