May 2, 2017

GRANTS PASS, Ore. (April 27, 2017) – On Monday, April 17, the Dutch Bros Coffee House on 6th and D Street raised $2,255 for College Dreams.

For the past two decades, College Dreams has focused on increasing access to opportunities for success in school, college and careers for low-income and first generation youth throughout the area.

“It’s so bitchin’ to walk into the coffee house and have it so fresh and so clean,” said Travis Boersma, Dutch Bros Coffee co-founder.

“It’s fun to have our coffee house re-opened with a brand new facelift! It was a fun day, and the coffee house was full the whole time! We are so excited to give the proceeds to College dreams, for scholarships, there are so many college students that come in to study it just seemed fitting,” said Sara Isabell, regional manager of Dutch Bros Grants Pass.

On the day of the grand reopening, the coffee house sold medium drinks for $1, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The proceeds from that day totaled $2,250 and will directly benefit College Dreams.
