Dutch Bros Greater Phoenix Raises Over $26,000 for Hurricane Harvey Victims

PHOENIX, Ariz. (Sept. 22, 2017) – On Friday, Sept. 15, Dutch Bros greater Phoenix raised $26,500 for the Justin J. Watt Foundation, a nonprofit focusing on rebuilding Houston following the devastation of Hurricane Harvey.

“We are extremely grateful for the outpouring of love from our raving fans last Friday, we couldn’t have done it without you,” said Joshua Hayes, General Manager of Dutch Bros Phoenix. The work that the Justin J. Watt Foundation has done is incredible, and we are so humbled to have been able to participate from a few states away.”

Hurricane Harvey made landfall as a category 4 hurricane, with winds gusting at over 130 miles per hour. The city of Houston was directly in the storm’s path and was devastated by the impact.

On Friday, Sept. 15, Dutch Bros Greater Phoenix donated a portion of the proceeds from every drink sold to the Justin J. Watt Foundation. Donation buckets were also available at each location for community members wishing to donate. The funds will directly support the rebuilding efforts in the city of Houston, Texas.
