Dutch Bros Phoenix Raises More Than $2,700 for Family of Christian Nagel

January 24, 2018

PHOENIX, Ariz. (Jan. 25, 2018) – On Saturday, Jan. 20, Dutch Bros Phoenix raised more than $2,700 for the family of Christian Nagel, a 20 year-old Ahwatukee resident who was set to leave for the Air Force, but was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident earlier this month. Dutch Bros provided a mobile unit to serve drinks at 3810 E Ray Rd. to raise funds for the family.

“We are so humbled by the love and support of the Ahwatukee community for the Nagel family,” said Josh Hayes, General Manager of Dutch Bros Phoenix. “We are also thankful for the people at Purcell Auto who allowed us to use their location for the fundraiser, and to everyone who came out and supported the cause. We couldn’t do things like this without the support of our wonderful community.”

Christian’s employer, Purcell Auto offered their parking lot to Dutch Bros on Saturday Jan. 20, allowing Dutch Bros to hold the fundraiser in Christian’s community.

On Saturday Jan. 20, proceeds from every drink sold at the Dutch Bros mobile unit, located at Purcell Auto on Ray Rd., were donated to the family of Christian Nagel. The funds raised will assist the family in offsetting funeral expenses.
