SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Nov. 15, 2017) – On Sunday, Nov. 19, the Dutch Bros Sacramento location at 5289 Auburn Blvd. will host a “Coffee with a K9” event, and donate $1 from every drink sold to the Sacramento Sheriff K9 Association.
The mission of the Sacramento Sheriff K9 Association is to provide active K9 teams with necessary protective equipment, care for retired K9 partners, education for the public on police service dogs, and services for K9’s when they pass away.
“We are excited to support our Sacramento Sheriff K9 Association,” said Nikol Grubbs, owner of Dutch Bros Sacramento. “It’s our first year hosting ‘Coffee with a K9’ and we can’t wait. We love our furry officers and hope to make them safer with new equipment and provide services for when they retire.”
To promote the event, the SSDK9 teams will be onsite at the 5289 Auburn Blvd., Dutch Bros location from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., to meet with the community and sell calendars. Donation jars will also be available for anyone wishing to provide additional support.
On Sunday, Nov. 19, the Dutch Bros Sacramento location at Auburn Blvd. will host “Coffee with a K9” from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and donate $1 from every drink sold to the Sacramento Sheriff K9 Association, as they continue to provide for and protect our K9 police service dogs.
