Woodburn, Ore. - Dutch Bros. Coffee Raises $3,760 for Woodburn School District30-Sep-2013
WOODBURN, Ore. (Sept. 30, 2013) —Dutch Bros. Coffee of Woodburn and community members banded together to raise $3,760 for the Woodburn School District on Thursday, Sept. 12, for the grand opening of a new store at 2720 Newberg Hwy.
To raise funds, Dutch Bros. Woodburn offered any medium drink for just $1 and donated all proceeds to the cause.
“It was awesome to see so many new customers come out along with our beloved regulars,” said owner-operator Shannon Williams. “The energy from the Dutch crew and customers was at an alltime high all day. I feel blessed to be in such a great community.”
Donation days like these are standard practice for local owner-operator Shannon Williams, who owns two locations in Woodburn. She is honored to support various local organizations, including the Aquatic Center, Krissy Keelan Foundation, Garcia Family Fund, Women’s Healthcare Associates, AWARE Food Bank, Diesel Fitness, St. Luke’s, Arthur Academy, Gervais Doernbecher Pageant Fundraiser, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the Muscular Dystrophy Association and local schools. Since January 2011, she has donated over $32K to the Woodburn community.
Dutch Bros. Coffee gives over $1 million annually company-wide to local causes and nonprofit organizations, as part of its goal of “Making a Difference, One Cup at a Time.”
