DB of Arizona DONATES $2,550 TO AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY

10-Oct-2011

PHOENIX, Ariz. (Oct. 10, 2011) – Following its motto of “making a difference one cup at a time,” Dutch Bros. Coffee of Arizona recently donated $2,550 to support the Great West Division of the American Cancer Society.

On Oct. 6, Dutch Bros. Coffee stores in Arizona’s seven locally-owned and operated drive-thru coffee locations hosted a fundraiser in honor of breast cancer awareness, donating proceeds from the day’s sales to benefit education and research. The company also donated additional net proceeds to the organization from the sale of its pink coffee tumblers, created in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness month.

“We are proud to be a supporter of such an important cause, and one that impacts so many lives in our communities,” said Jim Thompson, owner and operator of the Arizona Dutch Bros. locations. “We are thankful for the outpouring of support from our amazing customers on behalf of a wonderful organization that saves so many lives.

Supporting the American Cancer Society is just one way that Dutch Bros. shows its commitment to giving back. The company also holds fundraisers for non-profits such as Muscular Dystrophy Association and reinvests one percent of its annual gross sales back into the community.
