How do I register without downloading the app?

There’s not a way to register without the app yet, but this feature is coming soon! Stay tuned, fam!

Why can't I order a drink through the app?

Unfortunately, our app does not have that feature. We’re working on it, though! We’re always happy to take your order or help you find your drink in person!

How do I pay through the app?

All you need to do is load up your Dutch Pass™ with any balances from Dutch Bros™ gift cards, or add money directly from your credit or debit card. Then, present your pass to your broista — once they scan, you’re good to go!

Are you still accepting stamp cards?

As of March 31, 2021 we are no longer accepting stamp cards.

Can I transfer my stamps to my point balance on the app?

Afraid not! As of March 31, 2021 we are no longer accepting stamp cards.

What's the difference between points and rewards?

Points add up when you make purchases at our shops, and when you reach a certain number of points, we’ll pass along our thanks with a reward, which is usually a free drink!

Why don’t I get my first drink free? / Why do I need the app?

We hear you- it’s a change, but we think it’s worth it! The Dutch Bros app is definitely the place to get hooked up. We have so many good deals there, we want all our customers to be able to take advantage of it!

Do points expire?

Points can expire, but only if there hasn’t been any activity in your account for at least one year. For details, check out the full terms and conditions:

Why do I need the app for my birthday drink?

The app is the best way to get all sorts of rewards- including the birthday and half birthday drinks! It’s best to sign up for that if you can. If not, just talk to your broista!

Do rewards expire?

Rewards do expire within a certain time frame depending upon the reward. We’ll give you a heads up through the app if that’s the case, so just be sure to check in often.

Can I just show my ID for a free birthday drink?

Our birthday drinks are now part of the rewards on our app! Download the app to get the free drink- we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Will I be notified if points or rewards are expiring?

Yep! We’ll give you a heads-up in your app notifications if you’re in danger of losing any points or rewards. Check in often, though, so you don’t miss out!

How do I redeem my birthday drink on the app?

Scan your Dutch Pass (on your Dutch Bros app) and let your broista know you want to redeem your birthday drink!

Do I earn points if I'm buying my drink with a gift card?

Yes! Even more reason to use those gift cards.

My birthday is coming up, why isn’t it showing up on my app?

Happy early birthday friend! Your birthday drink will pop up on your app on the day of your birthday. We’re so stoked to celebrate with you!

Can I earn points buying gift cards?

Points can only be earned on purchases at our shops. Points can’t be earned on gift cards, online purchases, taxes, tips or charity donations.

Why am I not getting the same promotions as other customers?

Just like we customize your drink, we customize your Dutch Bros app experience! No worries- our app is going to be offering lots of rad in-app promotions for you to earn points and score rewards!

Can I redeem my rewards to buy your coffee online?

Rewards are redeemable for drinks or food items only, and those are served up at our shops, so we’ll see you there!

What do I get when I download the Dutch Bros app?

When you create your account, you get 125 bonus points - halfway to your first free drink!

Can I still get points if I forgot my phone?

We hate when that happens! If you ever forget your phone, just give your broista your phone number, and you’ll earn the points. Unfortunately, we won't be able to issue points for past purchases.

Why can’t I download the app?

Most likely your device isn’t compatible with the Dutch Bros app. We are working on a feature for customers to sign up online. Stay tuned!

How old do you have to be to download the app?

You must be 13 years or older to use this app.

I’m missing points from my last visit, how do I get them?

We’re sorry to hear that you didn’t get points for your last visit! Feel free to shoot us an email at and we will be happy to get this straightened out for you!

How do I download the app?

Go to your app store of choice - App Store (iOS/Apple) or the Google Play Store, search for Dutch Bros and select Dutch Bros.

How do I earn points?

It’s easy! Earn 5 points for each dollar you spend at a shop, and there’s no limit to how many you can earn!

How many points do I need for a reward?

It depends on the reward you want! A medium drink is free with 250 points, and any other drink uses 325 points.

Company-wide, our minimum age requirement is 16; however, each location is locally operated and some areas may have additional age requirements in place. We encourage you to check in with the broistas at your local stand for more information!

How Do I Apply For A Position At A Location That’s Already Open?

All our shops are locally operated and conduct their own hiring process. Swing by your local shop with your application and speak directly with local management. They will guide you in the next steps in your area!

When Will I Know If I Got The Position?

We appreciate your enthusiasm for the company! Since all shops are locally operated, we can’t give you a specific timeline. Once local management reviews all applications, applicants who made it to the next round will be contacted. How do I apply to a shop that hasn’t opened yet?

Yes! Our Blue Rebel Energy Drink is exclusive to Dutch Bros. It can be infused with any flavor and can be served straight from the can, over ice or blended!

What is the difference between a frost and a freeze?

A Dutch Frost is our take on a classic shake. A Dutch Freeze is a blended espresso drink!

What plant based milks do you offer?

All locations offer oat, almond and coconut milk.

What drinks are caffeine-free?

Can I customize my drink?

Yes, our broistas are always happy to make any drink the way you’d like!

What drinks can be made sugar free?

All of our classic menu drinks (Kicker, 911, Annihilator, Caramelizer, Cocomo, White Mocha, Double Chocolate Mocha, Double Torture) can be made sugar free! We are also happy to handcraft a specialty sugar free drink for you. Our sugar free flavors include white chocolate, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, chocolate, macadamia nut, hazelnut, irish cream, peppermint, coconut, raspberry, peach and strawberry.

What are your dairy free/vegan options?

Our drinks are great dairy-free! We can make them with any of our plant based milks, including oat, almond and coconut. If you’re vegan and your diet allows for cane sugar, most of our products will work for you. Feel free to send us your favorite drink and we’re happy to provide specific nutrition information.

How do I find your secret menu?

Do you offer bulk coffee?

We offer “Dutch-to-Go,” which is a 96 ounce insulated container filled with the drink of your choice. Our Dutch-to-Go menu includes all of our classic drinks, Americanos and hot chocolate. Please feel free to go by your local shop to order a Dutch-to-Go. Heads up- most locations require at least 48 hours notice.

What are your smoothies made of?

We handcraft our smoothies using Torani real fruit smoothie concentrate mix. Ask your local broista if they add ice cream mix to your smoothie!

Is it possible to order a “cold pour” drink?

Yes! Our iced drinks are handcrafted with the same recipe as our hot drinks. While we charge hot drink prices, we put cold drinks in a larger cup to accommodate the ice. If you order an iced drink as a cold pour, you’ll be charged for a blended drink as it does require quite a bit more product. You can request your drink to be made "light ice" and our Broista will be happy to top it off at no additional charge!

Our Cold Brew is crafted using our private reserve three-bean blend and cold water. It has a higher amount of caffeine compared to our classics and is less acidic.

Where can I find Dutch Bros stickers?

We offer a free sticker of the month with every drink purchased on the first day of every month! We’re no longer selling stickers online, however you’ll get one for free with every online purchase.

When will I receive the gift card I ordered online?

We offer free standard shipping on gift card orders, which means it can take up to 7-10 business days to receive your order. If you need your gift card faster, please select USPS Priority or UPS Ground during checkout!

Why didn't I receive an email confirmation for my online order?

If you didn't receive a confirmation email after placing your order, please check your “spam” folder. If you can’t find it, no worries! Reach out to us at [email protected] and we’ll get you taken care of!

Can I reload my gift card online?

We aren’t able to load gift cards on our website, but you can head to any of our locations and the broistas can get you taken care of!

How long does it take to receive my package?

That depends on the shipping service you selected when you checked out. It takes us one business day to process your order, then it typically takes 2-3 business days for your package to ship. There are some exceptions- for example, gift cards can take 7-10 business days to arrive.


Please note, once an order leaves our warehouse you'll receive an email with a tracking number. At that point, you can contact UPS or USPS for information on your package.

Do you keep my card information on file?

Your private information stays private! We don’t store card information and we’re only able to see the last four digits of your card number for any transaction. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out to our customer experience team at

Can I get coffee sent to me automatically on a schedule?

We’d love to have you join our coffee subscription service! It’s super easy! All you have to do is go to, choose your coffee, then click “sign up & save.”

How can I track my package?

We'll send you an email that includes a tracking number once your order has left our warehouse. This will allow you to follow your package through transit to its destination. If you haven’t received this email, please contact our customer experience team at [email protected].

Do you guarantee your mugs?

We have your back! Our Dutch Bros mugs have a lifetime warranty against damage- that means we can replace your mug if it’s defective or flawed. You’re welcome to bring your mug back to any stand so your local broista can switch it out for a new one. If they no longer have your mug in stock, they can exchange it for a new mug in a similar style.

What forms of payments do you accept?

Does my local shop have a walk up window?

Many of our walk-up windows are closed to support social distancing. To continue serving all of our customers, we’ve allowed them access through the drive-thru lanes. We want to assure you our broistas and runners are trained to help with this process.

Does my local shop have inside seating?

Due to COVID restrictions, our coffeehouses may not allow inside seating. Thank you for understanding!

Is my local stand open on holidays?

Do I have to drink coffee?

No! We also have teas, italian sodas, energy drinks and smoothies. We're confident you'll find a DB drink to love!

Do you offer remote internships?

Remote opportunities vary based on the position you’re applying for.

What if I missed the deadline?

Is housing provided if I don’t live locally?

At this time, housing isn’t provided, but we will always do our best to provide you with information about local housing options. If you’re relocating to the area, a housing stipend will be provided.

How long and when are the internships?

Most internships range from 8-12 weeks, depending on the position.

What kind of internships are available, and are they the same every year?

When can I apply?

Summer is the peak time for internships! Intern positions are posted in October for the upcoming year.

Should I bring a car?

Yes! We have a campus in the heart of downtown Grants Pass and another in Merlin, so a car is the best form of transportation. Depending on where you live and which location you’re based at, a bike/moped may be another great option.

Buck for Kids

Who are we giving to?

Each shop chooses a local organization to support to make a positive impact in the lives of kids and teens. Information about the organization in your area will be posted at your local shop.

Where does my dollar go?

The dollars raised from Buck for Kids day goes to nonprofits that mentor, support and better the lives of youth throughout the communities we serve. Check out your local stand for information on where the funds go in your area!

How much are you donating?

We’re donating $1 from every drink sold on September 10 to select organizations in the communities we serve. Typically, we’ll share results at your local shop a week after the event! Thank you for your support!

Are my kids’ drinks $1 today? -OR- Are they free today?

We love to hook our customers up, but Buck for Kids is an annual giveback for our communities. We want to make all the difference we can, so we aren’t offering discounts. We appreciate your support!

If I redeem a free drink on Buck For Kids day, is it still donating?

When redeeming a freebie, there’s no money involved and there’s no donation. If you want to donate, we suggest buying your drink on Buck For Kids day, and then using your free drink next time!

Is there a Buck For Kids sticker?

Each year, Dutch Bros locations donate $1 from every drink sold to a local youth organization in its community. This year, Buck for Kids is September 10th!

How will I know I win?

After each visit, refresh the app- if a yellow “Dutch for a Year” homepage image appears, you’ll know you’re a winner! A congratulatory email will also be sent to your inbox. 


One important thing to know- if you win, you’ll have until 11:59 p.m. each day to claim your daily reward. If you don’t claim it, it expires- so stop by every chance you can!

Unfortunately, this sweepstakes is only available to Dutch Rewards members -- you can register for free via the Apple Store or Google Play.

How many winners will be selected?

We’re stoked that 100 customers will have the chance to win Dutch for a Year. All the winners will be selected at random and automatically notified in the app!

How do I win?

All you have to do to enter is use your Dutch Pass at any of our shops. You can enter once a day through Oct. 31 or until all the winners have been announced, whichever comes first- if you’re an instant winner, you’ll be notified on the app!

How long will this giveaway last?

Winners are picked at random and alerted directly on the app. You’ll have the opportunity to win through Oct. 31 or until 100 winners are chosen, whichever comes first! Use your Dutch Pass every day for the best chances!

Winner: If I don’t want to use my free drink reward, can I transfer to someone else’s account?

Unfortunately, you can’t transfer your free drink reward to someone else. We encourage you to come by with friends and family to hook them up!

When does this giveaway start?

Beginning Sept. 29, you can enter to win once a day by stopping by a shop and using your Dutch Pass. The opportunity to win lasts through Oct. 31 or until 100 winners have been announced, whichever comes first.

You can download the Dutch Bros app from the App Store (iOS/Apple) or the Google Play Store (Android).

You’ll get one drink per day to redeem by 11:59 p.m. If you don’t redeem it, that opportunity expires and you get another chance the next day. You aren’t able to store up free drinks or claim multiple free drinks in a day.

Dutch Reward members have the opportunity to win Dutch for a Year starting September 29th! 100 winners will receive the opportunity to get one free drink per day for 366 days (starting immediately from the time you win!) A congratulatory email will be sent to your inbox. Don’t worry- if you’ve unsubscribed from emails, you’ll still get this one (we made sure!)

When do I get my prize?

Winners can start redeeming their daily drink reward right away. The day you win, the first drink is on us -- swing by again that day to redeem it, or wait until your next visit. Either way, you’ll actually be getting 366 drinks!

Can I enter to win when I redeem a free drink?

Of course! You’ll have the opportunity to win even if you’re redeeming a free drink reward! Due to a software issue, if you redeem a free drink with no other purchases in your transaction then your entry will not be processed until after the Promotion Period ends. We're sorry for any inconvenience.

Can I enter more than once?

You can enter once a day- all you need to do is use your Dutch Pass to pay or redeem a free reward.

When will the winners be announced?

If you’re a winner, you’ll be notified shortly after your visit. All you’ll need to do to see the notification is close out and re-open your app, or refresh it. 

Will I be notified if I don’t win?

If you don’t win after a visit to Dutch Bros, nothing will happen- it will just be a normal transaction.
