Community Unites with Dutch Bros Goodyear to Raise Over $5,000 in Honor of the Life of Ash Farley

February 24, 2017

GOODYEAR, Ariz. (Feb. 24, 2017) – On Monday, Feb. 20, Dutch BrosGoodyear, located at 14160 W. Indian School Rd., rallied with its community to raise $5,496 in support of the Farley family and in memory of Ash Farley.

On Wednesday, Feb. 1, Ashley Farley, well known as “Ash”, unexpectedly lost his life to a blood clot in his leg. Ash, a local Goodyear resident and beloved Dutch Bros customer, was known for his compassionate heart, radiant personality and stellar mustache. In his memory, the giveback day was dubbed “#mustASHmonday” and mustache stickers were given out to participating customers. Ash was an incredible husband to his wife Danielle, loving father to their seven children and caring friend to all.

“What surreal experience to be a part of something so special,” said Charles Swindler, Dutch Bros West Valley Arizona’s regional manager. “It was obvious the impact Ash had on people, as so many of the community came in to show their love!”

To raise funds, Dutch Bros Goodyear donated $1 from every drink sold from the day to the Farley family. Proceeds raised will help the Farleys as they transition through this unforeseen chapter of their lives. To help share a better world, along with the amount raised, local Dutch Bros West Valley owner Caleb Berkey is sending the Farley family to Disneyland in honor of Ash’s life.

“We are beyond thankful to have had the opportunity to pair up with the community and serve in this way!” said Charles.
