FRESNO, Calif. (Nov. 9 2017) – On Tuesday, Nov. 14, Dutch Bros Fresno will donate $1 from each drink sold to assist in feeding individuals and families in need on Thanksgiving at the Poverello House, Marjaree Mason Center, and the Fresno Rescue Mission.
Funds will be utilized to purchase food for dinner boxes for the Poverello House and the Marjaree Mason Center. Proceeds from the giveback will also be donated to the Fresno Rescue Mission to cover the cost of more than 600 meals that will be served at their Thanksgiving Luncheon.
The Poverello House seeks to enrich lives by serving three hot meals 365 days a year to anyone in need, resulting in 1,200 to 1,600 meals a day. They also support various agencies and programs in the city with offsite meals and emergency food bags. The Marjaree Mason Center provides emergency and long-term support and housing for victims of domestic violence in Fresno County. The Fresno Rescue Mission is dedicated to assisting hurting and homeless people in the community by meeting immediate and basic needs, while also offering programs for life-changing long-term support.
“We are so grateful and thankful for our community and love to take this opportunity to donate to those who may need help during Thanksgiving,” said Genesis Wilson, owner of Dutch Bros Fresno. “This will be our fourth year creating dinner boxes and donating food and it is awesome to have this giveback grow as our business in Fresno has grown.”
