LIVE OAK, Calif. (April 3, 2019) – Dutch Bros Live Oak raised $3,293 Thursday, March 28 in honor of beloved customer, Steve Brock, who recently lost his battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). On the day of the fundraiser, $1 from every drink was donated to Steve’s GoFundMe to assist his family with medical expenses associated with his battle against ALS.
“We are honored to help the Brock family pay for medical expenses acquired during Steve’s battle with ALS,” said Jasmine Westlund, shift lead at Dutch Bros Live Oak. “Steve served the community for more than 40 years as a paramedic, and was a regular at our shop since it opened. Despite everything Steve was going through, he always put a smile on the crews’ faces and showered them with love and support.”
On the day of the fundraiser, Dutch Bros Live Oak donated $1 from every drink purchased. The funds raised will directly benefit Steve’s family via his GoFundMe.
