Dutch Bros Live Oak Raises Funds for Injured Yuba County Sheriff Deputies

August 7, 2017

LIVE OAK, Calif. (August 7, 2017) – On Wednesday, Aug. 9, Dutch Bros Live Oak, located at 9922 Live Oak Blvd, will donate $1 from every drink sold to the two Yuba County Sheriff Deputies currently recovering from being shot in the line of duty.

Deputies Phillip Bronson and Andrew Everhart who have served the community in the Yuba County Sheriff’s Department for more than ten years were recently injured in the line of duty. Initially listed in critical condition, following the shooting; both men have since been upgraded to good condition.

“We are excited to rally with our community,” said Erin Backman, owner of Dutch Bros Live Oak. “It’s a wonderful cause, our officers do so much to keep us safe, and we want to make sure we are doing what we can to help out.”

To raise funds on Wednesday, Dutch Bros Live Oak will donate $1 from every drink sold, as well as provide onsite donation buckets for community members who would like to contribute more. Donations will be made to the Yuba County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association Family Support Fund through the Sierra Central Credit Union. These funds will directly benefit the two officers injured in the shooting, and help offset medical expenses incurred from this unforeseen event.
