WOODBURN, Ore. (April 26, 2018) – Dutch Bros Woodburn and Silverton locations came together Wednesday, April 18 to raise more than $3,600 for Mike Longmire, a firefighter and former Dutch Bros employee who recently suffered a series of medical emergencies that required him to be intubated, on a ventilator, and in an induced coma.
“Mike was a Dutch employee before he became a firefighter, and he made such an impact on my life, and those of our employees and customers,” said Shannon Williams, owner of Dutch Bros Woodburn and Silverton. “We are so thankful that the community came together to support Mike and his family during this difficult time.”
On the day of the fundraiser, Dutch Bros locations in Woodburn and Silverton donated proceeds from drink sales to help offset the medical expenses for Mike and his family.
“Mike is a true hero and we knew that we wanted to be able to show him love and support,” said Shannon.
