WOODLAND, Calif. (April 21, 2017) - On Monday, April 24, Dutch Bros Woodland will donate proceeds from the day’s sales to the family of Jimmy Heredia to help cover medical expense incurred from an unforeseen chapter in their lives.
Jimmy Heredia, was known for his bright charisma and huge heart lost his life after being a victim of a three-vehicle collision earlier this month. He was 11 years old. He and his family frequented the Dutch Bros Woodland locations, once the crew heard this tragic news; they wanted to help the family of this young man who brought so much positivity and happiness every time he came through a location.
“Our heart goes out to the family and friends of Jimmy,” said Sean Provost, Dutch Bros Woodland owner. “As soon as we heard the news, we knew we wanted to help this family as they face this devastating lost.”
On Monday, from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m., both Dutch Bros Woodland locations will donate proceeds from the day’s sales to support the family in their time of need. Dutch Bros Woodland will also provide on-site donation buckets for community members who would like to contribute more. Donated proceeds will directly benefit this local family to help cover medical expenses incurred from unexpected event.
