A letter from Dutch Bros

To our customers,

At Dutch Bros, we say we sell coffee, but we’re in the relationship business. Relationships are part of our DNA and are why we love serving our communities so much. While we value the connections we make at the window, we value the health and wellness of our employees and customers even more.

Our guiding principle at Dutch Bros is always to share the “Dutch Luv.” In this case, that’s the lens through which we’re evaluating every step we take to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Our first defense against this virus is following all state, national and global recommendations. We have a team of experts continuously monitoring updates from reputable agencies and instituting policies and procedures as necessary.

At each of our shops, we’re putting our employees and communities first. That means staffing to allow for continual cleaning and sanitizing, changing workflows to encourage social distancing and providing paid sick leave to every employee to ensure jobs are protected and personal health is prioritized. Our e-commerce staff handling your online orders are following best practices and afforded the same benefits as our shop employees. At our headquarters, we’re limiting gatherings and allowing for remote work opportunities.

This situation is, at times, changing hourly. We are dedicated to remaining proactive, community-focused and, above all, loving toward our employees and customers. The steps we take to protect those around us could result in slightly longer wait times, changes in regular broista interactions and, potentially, closures. We appreciate your support and understanding and look forward to serving you in the best way possible.
