LACEY, Wash. (Nov. 8, 2017) – On Saturday, Nov. 11, Dutch Bros Lacey will celebrate Veterans Day by donating the day’s proceeds to Lacey Veterans Services Hub, a local nonprofit serving veterans and their families in Thurston County.
Lacey Veterans Services Hub serves veterans and their families from, in and around Thurston County. LVSH provides VA claims and medical eligibility education, counseling, peer to peer support, housing and financial assistance. They also provide employment training and job readiness assistance, including interviewing skills training and resume building.
On Saturday Nov. 11, in honor of Veterans Day, Dutch Bros Lacey will donate all proceeds to the Lacey Veterans Services Hub. Funds will directly support LVSH as they continue to provide resources to veterans and their families throughout Thurston County.
"Veterans are in simple words, heroes. They are the heroes of this great nation we are all privileged to call home," said Carrie Wall, owner of Dutch Bros Lacey. "Donating to an organization that's sole purpose is to help the Veterans in our county, from job resources to housing and financial assistance is the very least we can do to show them how much we appreciate what they've done for us."
