GRANTS PASS, Ore.- The Dutch Bros Foundation has announced it’s committing $250,000 to wildfire relief efforts throughout the western states. Wildfires are currently burning in several of the coffee company’s locations, impacting its customers and communities.
“It’s devastating to see what’s happening across our western states,” said Katie Hutchinson, vice president of philanthropy at Dutch Bros Coffee. “Our customers and communities have always been so supportive of us, we’re grateful for the opportunity to support them.”
The funds donated by the foundation will go directly to the Red Cross Western Wildfires Fund, MRG Rogue Valley Relief Fund, and the Latino Community Foundation Northern CA Wildfire Relief Fund and will help provide food, housing and resources to those impacted by wildfires.
Dutch Bros Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Dutch Bros Coffee, which has more than 400 shops serving customers in nine western states.
“In dark times, it helps to look for the light,” said Travis Boersma, co-founder and CEO of Dutch Bros Coffee. “In this case, that’s seeing friends, families, strangers and businesses come together to support each other.”
Customers who wish to join the company and its foundation in giving are encouraged to donate to the Red Cross Western Wildfires Fund.
