SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Nov. 11, 2019) – Dutch Bros Coffee has been named corporation of the year for the California Narcotic Officers’ Association’s Region II.
Dutch Bros will be recognized for its dedication to its communities through donations to the families of fallen officers in the Sacramento area. In the last three years, Dutch Bros has raised more than $232,180 for families of fallen officers.
“Our police officers sacrifice a lot to keep our communities safe and we try to support them and their families as much as we can,” said Kyle Garrett, owner of Dutch Bros Elk Grove and Lodi.
CNOA will present the award for corporation of the year at its annual Region II luncheon on Wednesday, Nov. 13. Dutch Bros was nominated for the award in July.
Garrett and his crew are excited to take part in the regional luncheon and annual conference.
"Giving back to the families of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to protect our community has been an honor,” said Garrett. “We can’t thank our customers enough for showing up and supporting the families of the fallen officers.”
Dutch Bros supports its communities through a variety of local givebacks. Each year, the company donates to local youth and health programs, as well as community members.
“We are so thankful to the California Narcotic Officers’ Association for recognizing the effort of our customers in supporting their communities,” said Garrett.
